Express yourself is the road to success

Thanks to this homework, I understood the usefulness of having a blog: to express yourself and share ideas.

So, I learnt how to make a blog, but especially I learnt how to cultivate it. I also underestimated the power of this personnal media which compose a big part of our internet structure.

Indeed each time that I have to look for information, I found it most of the time on blogs made by people like us who become thanks to internet leaders of opinions used by a lot of students or professional. Now it's like you don't need to write a book to be approved because a blog can be enough.

But I also underestimated myself, thinking that I wasn't able to write something and besides something relevant. I was actually surprised by myself and the goal is achieved I really did develop my writting skills and I discovered other blogs to read like this one: http://blogginghwk.blogspot.com/ or http://rolonenfermo.blogspot.com/ or egyptos.fr/web 2.O in which you will find funny and very intersting things.

Enjoy it!

I know your password !

The scoiety Imperva specialised in computer security, made a ranking on the most passwords used by internet users.

In first place we have the traditional "123456", then we find "12345", or &123456789" so easy...

After comes letters with "I love you" and "princess"

And then the combination of both of then (numbers + letters) "abc123" ranked at the 10 th place.

The society made the point that almost half of internet users use the same password on every websites they have to suscribe. A real bargain for pirates or hackers by facilitating their "work".

Quote of the day: before anything else, preparation is the key to success (Alexander Graham Bell).

Google is...

Google puplished its recommanded queries and we can easily notice the good image they have, it's for some people even our friend or our technological big brother (is watching you).

In a funny way but not at all for Twitter, where we can see that it's not very well treated...

Paranormal activity, a success thanks to Web 2.0

You have certainly heard about this horror movie realised by a unknown realisator Oren Peli, in his own house with 2 beginners actors, which realised $100 millions of revenue for a cost of production of only $15000 (€10 000).

The Paramount wasn't so sure of the profitability of this movie, they decided to launch it only in 12 cinemas in US, to create an exclusive event.

People spoke about it on internet through twitter or facebook and the number of people who desire to see the movie grown weeks by weeks.

As a consequence paramount created a platform and millions of millions of people posted whishes to see the movie in their cinema.

Here again , you can see the power of prosumers, they made the buzz for this movie, and for the Paramount it's a very convenient way to commercialize movies without risks (you are sure that your movie is liked by the public) and without any promotional costs.

Viral Video new trend to launch your business

A viral video is a video that becomes popular throught the process of internet sharing throught media sharing websites (eg: youtube, dailymotion...).It often contain humorous content. In fact in these videos, the principal characterisitcs is humor but also is the fact that the video will be passed throught internet or mobile from person to person, regardless of its content.
For instance, this year the thing the most researched on google was a viral video "the Jk wedding entrance dance" in which you can see a different way to entry in the church.
The particularity of these videos is that they become very famous wolrdwide, a windfall for enterprises which have new ways and cheaper to reach people efficiently. For example this video created the buzz in China, an ads for a fertilizer called Jinkela, in which you can see the chinese humor (no coment),
So we can see that without any budget in maketing you can create cheap ads, successful and especially profitable.

A bitting comedy for the underdog in all of US

You hate High School Musical, well... you're going to love the new serie from Ryan Murphy the creator of Nip/Tuck.

Glee is an american comedy-drama that airs on Fox, it focus on a high school show choir.
The weird mixing makes this serie which worth the detour, ideed this unexpected TV serie where the freaks and the geeks steal pom pom girls and US football palyers's thunder.
But the creator made an interesting mix by putting them in this choir and realise the perfect merger.

What about Music?
Just great, in fact they cover classics and currents songs in a very orginal way and sometimes better than their own performer.

The serie meet also a great success on internet and evey form of Web 2.0, indeed the principal actor Cory Monteith was surprised by the huge attention dedicated to the serie on internet (creation of several blogs), His coworker Lea michelle said that she won 5000 friends on Facebook in one day and each song they cover has the first place on Itunes (notably the huge success of their replay of "don't stop believing- Journey").

The critics very welcomed this new serie on 17 th on January by winning the best comedy serie and the best musical serie Golden Globes.
